Grilled Steak Flautas

Ingredients

  • 1 10oz Grilled ribeye or strip steak, chopped
  • 3-5 Green onions, grilled and chopped
  • 1-2 Jalapeño, grilled and chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups Shredded mozzarella or chihuahua cheese
  • 1 jar Mi Rancho Organic Salsa Verde
  • 1 cup Shredded lettuce
  • Cilantro for garnish
  • Lime for garnish
  • Pickled jalapeño/red onion
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3-4 Mi Rancho Simply Nourished Low Carb Tortillas
  • Light olive oil or avocado oil (for frying)
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

Season and grill steak, jalapeños, and green onion. Chop all ingredients and add to a medium-sized mixing bowl.

Add shredded cheese and salsa verde to the cooled mixture and combine.

In a small bowl, combine sour cream and salsa verde to make a crema dipping sauce. (Add lime juice and cilantro.)

Take Simply Nourished Tortillas and roll up with steak mixture. Cut each tortilla in half and hold together with a toothpick for easier frying.

In a medium skillet, add enough oil to cover the bottom. Fry off each Flauta until crispy and serve with crema, pickled onions/jalapeño and shredded lettuce.
