Savory Salsa Burger
Get creative with this delicious burger recipe with a hidden twist. Mi Rancho’s Organic Salsa Roja is the key ingredient that gives the burger the best savory flavor.
• ½ cup Organic Salsa Roja
• 1 lb ground beef
• 4 slices of pepper jack cheese
• 1 tomato sliced
• 1 onion thinly sliced
• 1 head iceberg lettuce
• Pickled Jalapeños
• 4 toasted Hamburger buns
Heat up a pan to medium heat.
Then, in a medium bowl combine the ground beef with the salsa. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well (you can use your hands to make sure everything is evenly combined).
After ingredients are incorporated well, divide the meat into 4 equal sections. Using your hands round each section into a flat round patty. Place each of the patties on the hot pan and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side (or until desired level of doneness).
Once cooked through, add a slice of pepper jack cheese to each patty, place a lid on your pan to allow the cheese to melt for about 1-2 minutes on low heat.
On your toasted hamburger buns, place lettuce, tomato and onion. Then top with the beef patty. Top your patty with pickled jalapenos for an added kick of spice.
Lastly, finish the hamburger by adding a drizzle of chipotle salsa and topping with the bun.
