- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 jalapeño (minced)
- 1 tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp cumin
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 cup pepper jack cheese (shredded)
- ½ cup nacho sliced jalapeños
- 2 Mi Rancho Simply Authentic Burrito Flour Tortillas
Combine the ground beef, jalapeños, chili powder, cumin, salt & pepper in a large bowl.
Mix everything together, then form into two ½ lb. burger patties.
Pre-heat the grill to medium, then place the burgers on the grill.
Grill for 5-6 minutes, then flip and grill for an additional 5-6 minutes.
Remove the burgers from the grill (but keep the grill on) and place each one in the middle of a tortilla.
Top each burger with ½ cup of pepper jack cheese and ¼ cup of sliced nacho jalapeños.
Wrap the burger by first folding two sides over the middle of the burger.
Then fold the other two sides over the burger.
Secure the tortilla on the top of the burger with a toothpick. Repeat on the second burger, then place them back on the grill.
Grill for 2-3 minutes per side.
Slice in and you have a cheesy, spicy burger waiting for you in the middle of a warm, toasty tortilla!
I seriously might not ever serve burgers on buns again!
Mi Rancho Flour Tortillas were perfect for this recipe because they’re thick enough to wrap around the burger without tearing, yet soft and light enough to make the perfect outer layer for this delicious spin on a cheeseburger!
I know what you’re thinking, “must run to the grill right now and make this!”
Hey, I’m not stopping you!

One of the ways I find recipe inspiration is through eating delicious dishes at great restaurants… or through my friends eating delicious dishes at great restaurants and sending me pictures!
Yes, that is actually how this recipe came to be. My friend Jonny sent me a picture of a tortilla wrapped cheeseburger he ordered at a restaurant and I was instantly obsessed!
My first thought was, how did I not think of that before?
My second thought was, must make for LLB immediately!
I used big, buttery Mi Rancho Mama’s Burrito Flour Tortillas to wrap up a spicy jalapeño cheeseburger for my version of this awesome new dish!
